Kent Lyons has created a campaign for the
Climate Coalition designed to ‘change the
conversation’ around climate change,
and get it back on to Governments’ agenda.
The consultancy won a pitch hosted by Climate
Coalition, which is a body that represents the
mutual concerns of charities including Oxfam,
Friends of the Earth, WWF and Christian Aid.
Kent Lyons partner Noel Lyons says the
consultancy was briefed to ‘get people caring
again’ about climate change.
The campaign solution is based around a
‘For The Love Of…’ phrase, which is applied
to the things that people hold most dearly to
them, and juxtaposed with the environmental
threat that those things face.

Politicians are the key
Great campaign, if this is pushed maybe just maybe we will get the politicians to actually do something finally.
I am no expert on global warming but for me its simple. Use renewable energy, recycle what you can and for heavens sake stop cutting the rainforests.
The rainforests are the main issue, even with the amount of carbon we pump into the air atmosphere, with enough trees to counter it the Earth will adapt and correct the issue. But unfortunately not enough has or is being done to replace trees.
The answer for me is stop logging companies from cutting 'wild areas' make them purchase a set amount of land to 'FARM TREES' making it a renewable source as law. I know there are a lot of tree farms already out there but it should be the ONLY way to
obtain timber in my opinion.
I am behind this project 100% but governments need to take the lead
on this otherwise its a dim future for
us all. So everyone should get behind this and push for action.
